Qigong is a Chinese healing art that uses breath, gentle movement, visualization, and focused intention to circulate qi (life force) and revitalize the body. This style of qigong features continuous flowing movements, tapping to awaken the meridian lines, and meditative imagery to mirror the natural rhythms of the world around us.
Lisa created the Winter Qigong practice to support you in the coldest, and most 'yin' season of the year. Traditional Chinese medicine associates Winter with the end of all seasons, the vital organs: the kidneys & urinary bladder, and element water. It is an auspicious time to embrace being inward and still, maintain vitality qi for the kidneys, and warm nourishment for the whole energetic body.
